Staff Accountant - Kroll - Loveland, Colorado

Government Services, a division of the Security Group, is responsible for the services provided by all of Kroll's businesses to federal, state, and local government agencies in the United States. Government Services manages a nationwide network of investigators who conduct on-the-ground background checks for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and U.S. Bureau of Customs & Border Protection. The division is also responsible for overseeing Kroll's monitoring assignments, including its police department monitorships. 

 

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for our Loveland, Colorado office. Responsibilities:Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Maintains asset and depreciation schedules.  Responsible for all GL maintenance and account reconciliation.  Reconciles all inter-company accounts and prepares inter-company invoices for processing. Maintains fixed asset records and asset tracking for laptops. Assists with labor reconciliations for subcontract labor. 

College degree in accounting and 4 plus years of direct experience.  Familiarity with GAAP and SOX strongly preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, Excel.
