Staff Accountant (SADENDW-01)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for providing financial support for TeleWire Supply located in Denver. Position reports to the Business Unit Controller.


Responsibilities will include the following: Preparation of journal entries, monthly reconciliations and account analyses. Coordinate monthly Balance Sheet Analysis Prepare financial reports for business unit monthly Analyze and document specific balance sheet and income statement account fluctuations on a monthly basis. Assist with the quarterly/annual audit request. Liaison with other departments regarding Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Perform other duties as requested


Requirements: One to two years of experience in Accounting or Finance BA or BS in Accounting or Finance Resourcefulness in resolving questions and problems Self-starter who can work alone with little supervision Detail oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines


These are desired skills: Knowledge of relational databases: Access, TM1 or Hyperion Computer application skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft General Ledger, etc Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
