Staff Accountant - San Francisco

Staff Accountant - San Francisco WESTERN ROOFING SERVICE is seeking a Staff Accountant for its commercial roofing division in San Francisco. Candidates must be legally cabable of working in the US. 

This position will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities
Client Invoicing for lump sum type contracts that include schedule of values, lien release forms, AIA forms.
Coordination with client counterparts for payment inquires and individual project billing requirements. Reporting and collection of AR. Cash application and AR reporting. Contract job costaccounting and general ledger Assisting with implementation of new accounting software Fixed asset reporting for both book and tax using FAS software.

Bachelors Degree in Business /Accounting plus three years of related experience perferred 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) required.
Must be proactive and quick learner.
Flexible, problem solver.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Verbal skills phone skills a must in collecting AR and interface with project managers.

Preference will be given to candidates with:
Fixed asset reporting using FAS software.
Either Timberline or Navision experience a plus with proficiency in Microsoft Office a minimum.
Construction industry experience a big plus.
