Staff Accountant - Compliance Group:

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Staff Accountant holds a critical role in the compliance group within the Finance Department.  This position will be responsible for:  The preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations; Income Statement Analysis; Setting up new vendors for Accounts payable; Setting up new accounts in the GL package for firmwide operations; and the preparation of supporting schedules for the Firm?s year-end audit.  



Ideal Education / Work Experience:

?        4 year college degree with a major in Accounting/ GPA 3.0 or higher (overall and in major).  
?        2-3 years of related work experience.  Law firm or other professional services firm experience is a plus.
?        Strong knowledge of domestic accounting standards (International is a plus).
?        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
