GENERAL PURPOSE

Assist in the monthly preparation, analysis, and financial reporting (legal & management) of designated companies controlled by the Raleigh Finance group.  Assist in cash management, analysis, and reporting of designated companies.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

?  Prepare & record monthly journal entries for designated companies including calculated accruals and amortizations of prepayments

?  Assist and/or produce accurate and timely monthly management financial statements and analyses of results for designated companies

?  Record and verify the accuracy of designated financial data in corporate consolidation system

?  Analyze, reconcile and maintain accurate designated SAP balance sheet accounts

?  Analyze and reconcile inter-company balances for designated companies

?  Prepare monthly and interim cash reporting and reconciliation for designated companies

?  Prepare periodic US Census filings as required

?  Monitor and ensure accurate Accounts Receivable balances for designated companies

?  Process and record credit card transactions for designated companies

?  Prepare and code inter-company invoices for designated companies

?  Verify, approve, and code accounts payable invoices including T&E?s for designated companies

?  Analyze and verify monthly inventory levels and gross margins for designated companies

?  Assist in year-end Audit of designated companies

?  Assist in preparation of annual and interim tax filing for income, sales & use, etc. for designated companies

?  All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or VP

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

?  BA/BS Degree in Accounting

?  5-7 years progressive accounting experience preferably with exposure to full internal financial statement preparation

?  Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP

?  Manufacturing/Distribution/Inventory control experience helpful

?  Experience with internationally based companies a plus
