Staff Accountant for a Leading Market Research Firm

Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for various domestic responsibilities. Responsibilities will include P&L and balance sheet analysis, financial statement analysis, balance sheet account reconciliations, and special projects.  Position will also likely involve analysis and interaction with International Locations and communication of creating and distributing international cross charges, detailed monthly review of assigned domestic divisions.  Review of monthly international reporting packs for assigned countries and related journal entries/uploading for consolidation.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting Required; CPA Preferred

- 3-5 years of post college experience (total)

- ?Big Four? accounting firm experience is preferred

- Experience working with a general ledger system/doing the day-to-day accounting - in an  

industry or corporate setting, specifically in the technology and service industries.

- Oracle Financials experience preferred

- Hands-on

- Detail oriented

- Excellent organizational skills

- Excellent communication skill

- Team player / able to work with a wide range of people

- High energy with the drive to succeed and progress within his/her own careers

- Ability to manage projects to completion
