Job Description:

Under general supervision, maintain a complete and accurate financial history of the company?s accounting operations, and provide management reports indicating the results of operations.  Provide reporting spreadsheets and other requested information.

 

Education/Training/Experience:

 

Required: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Business.

Two years accounting experience including the preparation of

financial statements, analysis and accounting reconciliations.

Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Desirable:Previous experience in a healthcare environment.

  Payroll Experience.

 

Knowledge of: Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting 

  principles (GAAP).

  Customer service principles and techniques.

  Office filing and record keeping techniques.

 

Skills/    Operate a personal computer including word processing and

Abilities: spreadsheet applications programs.

Operate a 10-key calculator with speed and accuracy.

Schedule, organize and complete work within deadlines.

Enter, balance and reconcile accounting entries.

Maintain work records and compile operating, budget or activity reports.

Maintain the confidentiality of personnel and payroll data.

Communicate effectively with staff, management, vendors and other internal and external customers.
