Staff Accountant to start ASAP!

 

An International Communications Company in has an opening for a Staff Accountant.  The company is headquartered in Morison and provides a warm and friendly work environment with plenty of room for growth.  Responsibilities will include a broad range of corporate accounting duties from bank reconciliation?s to preparation of management reports.

 

Primary Job Duties:Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reportsPrepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accountantsDevelop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changesAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataProvides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information and converting data to a general ledger system

 

Skills/Requirements:4-year accounting degree required2-4 years of accounting experienceExcellent oral and written communication Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS ExcelAbility to multi-task and reprioritize as needed
