We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our practice, working from our Hunt Valley, Maryland office. Job duties will include:



Assist Senior Accountants with audit and accounting engagements by preparing complete, accurate and orderly workpapers.







Prepare client financial statements.



Research GAAP and financial accounting matters.







Obtain a thorough understanding of client's business, systems and procedures.





Maintaining client confidence by keeping information confidential.





Maintaining firm's reputation by complying with regulations and professional ethics of the AICPA and MACPA.



Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.



Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.




Qualified applicants will possess: CPA or candidate preferred



4-year degree in Accounting



0 - 3 years experience in public accounting.



Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills



Ability and willingness to travel locally

 

This position is avialable for regular full-time or for a December graduate looking for an internship.
