Staff/Senior Accountant in the Fashion Industry!

Even wanted to work in the fashion industry?

Exciting, fast growing, high end women's apparel manufacturer in Redmond is looking to add a staff/senior accountant to their team! This company produces high end women's denim products sold in Nordstom and Neiman Marcus.

Position reports to Accounting Manager


Essential job Functions

1) Monthly account reconciliations

2) Compliance reporting to Parent Company including:

1) Assist on monthly com share schedules
2) Monthly forecast
3) Borrowing base-inventory & A/R
4) Flux analysis (Variance from budget)
5) Cash receipts and disbursements
6) Other quarterly & Year end schedules
7) Annual budget & annual forecast
8) Reserves and roll forward of reserves

3) Standard costing and inventory valuation.

4) Assist in supervising accounts payable and inventory adjustments

5) Assist in maintaining general ledger and monthly journal entries.

6) Back up on payroll and com share

7) Assist accounting supervisor and C.F.O. on developing internal controls

8) Assist Accounting supervisor and C.F.O on expediting month end closing.

9) Prepare daily and monthly reports for internal management.

10) Assist with coordinating physical inventory counts.

11) Assist accounting supervisor on tax reporting.

12)Issues and maintain letters of credit

13) Other projects as assigned.
