POSITION SUMMARY

The candidate would be responsible for delivering a full range of services to clients, including project and engagement management. Responsibilities would also include planning, directing, and completing audits; reviewing financial statements; and assisting the team in client management and practice development activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

? Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.

? Run client engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial audits.

? Research and analyze financial statements including audit and tax-related issues.

? Work to identify and resolve client issues discovered during audit process.

? Assist partners on proposals and business development calls.

? Involvement with the career development of team members.

? Participate in recruiting efforts as needed.

? Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field.

? Current CPA license or actively preparing to pass the CPA examination.

? 0-3 years experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm desirable for Staff Auditors.

? 3-5 years experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm preferred for Senior Auditors

? Sarbanes-Oxley experience highly desirable.

? Ability to manage multiple engagements in a team environment.

? Strong technical accounting and computer skills including audit preparation software.

? Strong leadership coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

? Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.

? Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

? Desire for advancement.
