State & Local Tax Senior Associate

Job Description -- The PricewaterhouseCoopers Boston Office is seeking two State and Local Tax Senior Associates to join their practice. Successful candidates will the opportunity to be exposed to and deal with a variety of state and local tax issues. He/She must be well-organized and will be responsible for managing the state tax return preparation and review process for large client engagements. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to be involved with day-to-day consulting projects within the Salt and Local Tax Practice.

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 2- 3 years of tax compliance experience, and all candidates must posses a solid understanding of the tax compliance process. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, however it is also essential that he/she function well with independent responsibilities. He/she should be highly motivated to take the initiative for his/her own personal growth and development. Candidates must be efficient and well organized. He/she should also have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and to interact successfully with PwC professionals and clients to effectively deliver quality tax services.
