Subcontract Admin- 3

This position will be part of a management team supporting the program office, but will report into the DMS procurement Manager.  The successful candidate will be able to provide responsible advice and counsel on a wide range of contractual and business issues.

The successful candidate is also responsible for:

oManaging subcontractors to achieve program goals and objectives, maintain strong supplier relations and ensuring compliance to company poicies and procedures. 

oDeveloping Subcontracts, negotiating terms and condition and subcontract provisions, evaluating proposals and negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions or modiciations to the subcontracts.  Administers resulting subcontracts including any award fee provisions.

oEnsuring that contractual risks are identified and mitigated.

oMonitoring supplier performance as part of a supplier management team and implementing corrective actions as required.

oAdhering to tight deadlines and being able to make decisions in a timely manner, offering guidance and working cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, contracts and security for seamless administration. 

Experience in the following areas is required:



Bachelor’s or MA degree with 6 years of experience in Subcontract Administration with demonstrated strengths managing suppliers in a large complex program through all phases (development, integration and production ) ultizing IPT management concepts.

oThorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations. 

oAbility to apply sound judgment to problem solving, strategy development and supplier relationships.

oExceptional organization skill, verbal and written communication skills oStrong Negotiation Skills a must.

 
Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Successful candidate should have at least 6 or more years experience managing major production and systems subcontractors.
