Supervisor, Accounts Receivable

This position is responsible for the supervision, training, and process oversight of the Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Invoice Credit, and customer Credit functions for a division of Hill-Rom, Incorporated located in the Boston MetroWest area . Coordinates all aspects of customer cash collection including management of staff and outside collection agencies, managing of bankruptcy claims, and coordination of Site Draft/Letter of Credit processing and collections. Assists the Director of Finance in the determination of Credit Limits and Terms for new customers.

 

RequiredBS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. Minimum five years Accounts Receivable supervisory experience in a publically traded company Accounts Receivable experience in small capital products No less than two and no more than four years experience in preparation of accounting journal entries and general ledger account analysis/reconciliation. Detail-oriented, organized and possess the ability to prioritize workload and work independently. Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language Evidence of proficiency in MS Office Suite. Evidence of strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience with Banks and Freight Forwarders with establishing, processing, and collecting on Letters of Credit and Site Drafts Strong working knowledge of the Accounts Receivable module of an Enterprise Information System and Customer/Sales Contact system

PreferredProficiency in Report Writer and Enterprise system. Collection of receivables from Customers in foreign countries. Experience in a Fortune 500 company
