Responsible for supervising the daily POD operation. Will provide direction, training and other supervisory skills to associates and will also be proficient at performing the majority of the duties and responsibilities in the check processing environment including report preparation, completion of employee evaluations, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Supervises activities of operations personnel; ensures that production schedules are met.
? Proficient in numerous functions and areas of check processing.
? Directs workflow and supervises associates to ensure operational expectations are met.
? Monitors and reports on operation and maintenance of equipment.
? Assists in maintaining operational production statistics and records.
? Technical and procedural leader in multiple areas.
? Communicates with and produces reports for customer
? Conducts performance reviews of subordinates.
? Provides performance counseling and coaching to associates.
? Maintains appropriate escalation levels in response to problems or situations.
? As required, creates and amends, and documents operational procedure.
? Performs other related duties as required.
Must be customer service oriented and must be committed to achieving required deadlines.

Complexity of Work: Moderately routine; general policies applied. Some decision-making.

Experience: 3-5 Years: of check processing experience; specifically in POD operations. AFS capture software with Power Encode a plus. 3 - 5 years of experience supervising a group of 25 or more employees. Must have a good understanding of proof operations and file transmissions.

Education: Bachelor?s degree from a four year college or university in business or computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

? Knowledge of procedures for processing bank transactions
? Knowledge in Banking Industry
? Knowledge of company?s objectives and strategies
? Skilled in organization, leadership, decision making and communication skills
? Skilled using PC and other desktop computer equipment
? Ability to schedule work for others
? Ability to monitor or regulate the activities of subordinates
? Ability to coach/counsel subordinates for development, evaluation and discipline
? Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and public
