Supervisor ITG Budget - (Budgeting, Accounting, Financial Management, Business Analysis)

Basic Function:
Acting as the Information Technology Group (ITG) division budget coordinator for all appropriate locations: coordinating the ITG annual budget schedule that coincides with the corporate schedule. Managing the ITG budget staff activities, including the annual ITG budget construction and preparation; analyzing and presenting monthly variance and other reports to ITG senior management, including any recommendations or proposed changes; responsible for supervising the development and monitoring of divisional and departmental budgets and projects; takes a leadership role in divisional and corporate projects providing consultation and guidance on the development of financial information to identify the economic impact of business cases; coordinates the development of reports via various media, including the intranet; consults with ITG, management, and officers in making strategic decisions; oversees and develops work of subordinates; works closely with management from Finance and other divisions to ensure coordination and communication of related activities.

Job Requirements:
1) 4 years work experience in budgeting, accounting, or financial management, and business analysis in an IT environment with a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting OR 6 years work experience in budgeting, accounting, or Financial management, and business analysis in an IT environment; 2) 4 years experience in budgeting, financial planning and management science practices, theories, and methodologies; 3) 4 years experience in business and/or financial/budgeting/cost accounting systems and accounting practices; and computer operations on a network platform; 4) Proficient in use of PC systems and software; skills to include Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint; 5) Proficient in use of Lotus Notes Database Applications; 6) 4 years experience in negotiation and conflict resolution; 7) 4 years experience and ability to negotiate, recommend, and implement solutions.
