Supervisor of Margin Accounting

Our client North of Boston is looking for Supervisor of Margin Accounting

 

Responsibilities:Responsible for organizing and supervising accounting for the new entity for all imports under the management of the manufacturing entity. The accounting and controls for this entity are new and need someone who can approach this entity with a solid technical accounting background. Accurate cost and margin accounting for all company?s sales units; Retail and Delivery. Supervisor of 3 direct reports with the skills to motivate and challenge associates for high performance standards. Develop and organize weekly controls for imports, including the Company?s Brand products. High-visibility to business partners with the responsibility of managing the relationship from directors to analyst level. Adhoc analysis and special projects as required to improve business results.

Qualifications:Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting Required 4-6 years of related work experience Technical proficiency in Excel and Access Prior experience with Oracle GL and Brio Query Tool a plus Prior supervision of professional accounting associates, ability to focus and motivate associates and work to high performance standards Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work with business partners Strong analytical problem solving skills Organized and ability to juggle priorities
