TAX MANAGER

 

Tax Manager who has a strong foundation in federal and general corporate taxation, and desires an opportunity to expand their skills in international tax, work in areas that are results-oriented, and gain exposure to a variety of disciplines by interfacing with corporate and segment management.  The Company is acquisitive and growth-oriented, with an environment that encourages and rewards both self-motivation and teamwork.

COMPLIANCE
" Manage preparation and review of Company tax returns, including oversight and coordination of outside tax consultants
" Coordinate with outside tax consultants to update earnings & profits calculations, adjusted tax basis, foreign tax pools and foreign tax credit calculation
" Maintain global tax calendar, including oversight of global reporting requirements
" Manage federal, foreign, state & local tax audits

TRANSFER PRICING
" Manage Company's transfer pricing practices and policies on worldwide basis
" Economic and margin analysis for purposes of allocating profits and optimizing global tax rate
" Coordinate worldwide transfer pricing documentation with outside consultants

TAX PLANNING
" Conduct federal/state, U.S. international and foreign tax planning, with significant emphasis outside of U.S.
" Identification of Subpart F issues and quantify their impact on the Company's tax provision and rate
" Assist in developing strategies to optimize the tax and cash position of the Company

FINANCIAL REPORTING
" Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP consolidated tax provisions for multi-jurisdictional operations
" Assist in reviewing subsidiary tax provision and other tax account analysis

OTHER
" Assist with acquisition due diligence and structural tax planning; participate in purchase accounting analysis and related matters (e.g., 338 elections, check-the-box elections, acquisition/disposition strategies, etc.)
" Participate in process improvement initiatives, including maintenance of tax reporting packages and sourcing of accounting data
" Advise management on the impact of new laws, regulations and rulings and of proposed legislation in taxes and related areas
