TAX PREPARER

Summary:

Medium size-year round tax firm in San Francisco/Marina district seeking an experienced EA or CPA.

Duties:Interviews clients and prepares tax returns Performs independent tax research Communicates with clients in response to inquiries Assists other preparers as required Conducts year-end tax planning consultations Files federal, state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, state pages, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.

Qualifications:Knowledge of 1120's, 1041's and 1031 Exchanges. Knowledge of Financial Statements, IRS & FTB tax audit procedures Proficiency with Lacerte and other tax related software Preparation of Corporate & Partnership taxation necessary EA or CPA Agent Preferred Deadline-Oriented
