TAX - TREASURY MANAGER

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as Treasury / Tax Manager at our headquarters in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance. 

 

Treasury / Tax Manager

 

This individual will plan, organize, direct, and control the treasury and tax functions of the business. Specific responsibilities include:

 Responsible for cash management, accounts payable, credit and collection, and payroll functions.Manages routine bank reporting requirements related to covenants and financial statements.Supports the preparation of the annual business plan and periodic business updates regarding cash / balance sheet.  Maintains annual compliance schedule for all federal and state income and franchise tax, real estate tax, personal property tax, sales and use tax, and 1099 filings and business licensing requirements.Coordinates preparation of annual legal entity financial statements.Coordinates external tax processesCalculates year-end deferred tax provisions for audit purposesCoordinates external audits for pension / 401K plansServes as liaison between external auditors and tax preparersManages a staff of 16 persons and champions staff development plans.

 

We are looking for a self starter that is technically strong with management experience that can come and increase efficiencies in accounting processes. Key criteria include the following:7-10 years total relevant experience with at least five years in the public sectorProven ability to train and motivate peopleStrong computer skills in financial systems and MS officeBachelor?s in accounting and CPA, MBA is a plus
