EDD Billing Specialist

 

JOB SUMMARY:

  Billing Job Description

 

1.  Track and bill all EDD jobs on a Daily basis to provide invoices to Clients in a timely fashion.

2.  Follow all Billing and Accounting procedures including but not limited to Punted job Billing, Revenue transfer, Accounting/Adjustment, etc?.

3.  Work with Accounting, Billing, Project Management, and Sales Personnel to produce accurate invoicing for ONSS Clients.

4.  Seek The Director?s approval on all jobs and all adjustments made to any invoice.

5.  Prepare all billing meters and gain Director?s approval prior to billing any job.

6.  Log all billing meters on ONSS network.

7.  Maintain a running total of Revenue produced for department.

8.  Verify pricing and calculate mark-up for shipping transactions.

9.  Maintain various spreadsheets for ONSS Special Billing.

10.  Maintain monthly WIP/Revenue Transfer Reports.

 

 

 

 Job Purpose:

 

Generate On-Site sales orders for subsequent approval by the Account Executives and provide direct assistance to the Billing Manager.

General Duties:

o  Verifies shipments by matching bills of lading; reconciling quantities; noting discrepancies.

o  Prepares invoices by calculating charges; making necessary cuts; entering release numbers and shipping dates into database; placing orders in ready status; ordering invoices from computer invoicing system; mailing invoices.

o  Forwards information by reading and routing correspondence.

o  Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

?  One to two years office experience required.

?  Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management. (verbal/written)

?  Must exhibit a great degree of attention to detail.

?  Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.

 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.  Ability to sit and work with computer for a long period of time (6-8 hours).

2.  Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate standard office equipments.

3.  Must possess excellent verbal, written and auditory skills to discuss work-related matters.
