Perform state and federal compliance as well as resolve tax issues related to this activity

Prepare and review sales and use tax returns including coordinating, gathering and analyzing supporting data from internal and external resources

Coordinate with accounting personnel to assure that all tax calculations are properly handled

Involvement in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and year-end federal, state and international provision process

Responsible for various special tax projects as assigned

General assistance with state tax audits

Indirect supervision of tax interns Basic knowledge of federal/state taxation

Strong accounting and analytical skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Basic understanding of income tax accounting and the quarterly/year-end provision process

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills (experience with Vertex and CorpTax software a plus)
