Tax Accountant - Telecommunications

Our client is a major US corporation in the Telecommunications sector.? This is a full time permanent position, employer fee paid.?

Job description:?Prepare Revenue based or/and Regulatory tax returns or/and filings, perform state apportionment for calculation if applicable; Process tax payments timely to meet deadlines.
?Prepare journal entries and accounting classifications for monthly close process.
?Perform tax or/and regulatory liability account reconciliation; Research and analyze variances, resolve issues if any.
?Calculate various non-system computed state and local taxes, and prepare standardized tax data files for TPA process.
?Conduct other analysis for state and local tax accounting related functions.


Education, Skills and Experience Required:
?3-5 years Accounting or State and Local Tax experience.
?Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
?Masters degree in Tax or Accounting preferred.
?CPA preferred.
?Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
?Strong oral and written communication skills.
?Work individually and a good team player.
?Attention to details/deadlines critical. Salary range:? $50 - $70k with 10% bonus of base salary
