Working in one of Philips Corporate Staff Departments, you?ll be at the heart of our worldwide company. These departments play a key role in supporting the Royal Philips Electronics Board of Management (BoM). So you may be involved in helping manage the processes and functions core to our operations: Performance Management, Finance,
Human Resources, Technology Management, Brand Management, or Information Technology.

Whatever your role, you?ll be helping implement BoM decisions, measure our performance, set company-wide standards and drive corporate initiatives. You may be involved in the creation of corporate products as diverse as our Annual Report, our brand image or a high-quality talent pool. Job Description

Sales, Use Tax & Business License Compliance/Field Assistance - 20% of time - Complete and file sales/use and business license tax returns of minor complexity for PENAC and/or Philips business units. - Research sales tax questions/issues presented by the field. Property Tax Compliance/Field Assistance - 25% of time-Complete and file personal property tax returns of minor complexity for Philips business units. -Review assessments and assure tax bills are paid. State Income & Franchise Tax Compliance - 35% of time-Complete state income/franchise tax returns of minor complexity. -Update/input data in tax compliance software system. Unclaimed Property Compliance - 10% of time-Complete and file unclaimed property tax returns of minor complexity for Philips business units.Special Projects 10% of time

Requirements

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required. Certified Public Accountant certification and working towards a Master?s Degree in Taxation preferred.? 1-3 years of financial experience, with 1-3 years direct experience in the state & local corporate tax area recommended.? Working knowledge of state & local tax laws & regulations? Experience in preparation of income/franchise tax, sales & use tax, property tax and unclaimed property returns.? Good mathematical, interpersonal, oral and written skills necessary.
