Tax Analyst

Direct Hire opportunity now available for experienced accounting professional to fill role as TAX ANALYST. Seeking candidate with minimum 4 years experience in accounting/finance and minimum 3 years in tax accounting.

Responsibilities include: preparing and analyzing tax records, preparing local, state and federal tax returns and preparing claims for tax refunds. Will assist in the preparation of statistical and financial reports and be responsible for maintaining tax records and preparing miscellaneous tax studies and assignments and for analyzing and problem solving on tax related issues.

Will handle all but the most difficult tax problems and advise the accounting areas on tax problems that require interpretation.

BS Degree required, MBA (tax) or CPA preferred. Tax regulations, good research and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
