Tax CPT Senior Associate

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking Senior Associates to join its Tax practice in Tysons Corner. They will have the opportunity to concentrate on a variety of tax issues including acquisitions, IRS examinations, and other transaction-based consulting projects. They will have an opportunity to gain Technology, Communication, Retail, Service Providers and Consumer products industry specialization. Seniors will also be responsible for the review of corporate and partnership tax returns and coordinating and preparing some compliance work.

Bachelors degree a must
CPA or at least two parts of CPA exam passed with either a Masters of Accountancy or JD/LLM preferred

Job Requirement Essential

**Strong technical tax background as a result of two years plus of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns and advising companies on their tax strategy
**Experience in corporate and partnership tax research, consulting and compliance obtained from employment with a "Big 4" or regional accounting firm is essential
**Knowledge of tax preparation software is essential as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
**Highly self-motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth development
**Ability to demonstrate the ability to identify tax consulting opportunities
**Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, people development skills and a passion for client service. **Must be a team player and work well with colleagues from other offices and departments.
