Federal/State Compliance Manager
?
A Federal/State Tax compliance manager is responsible for the delivery of a full range of services to clients in a variety of industries. The position includes close interaction with clients, managing client relationships and ensuring client expectations are met, assisting in restructuring and optimizing processes to provide more efficient work flow, executing tax research and
identifying tax planning strategies. Other responsibilities include working closely with partners on practice and business development, developing and managing staff by providing them with leadership, training, counseling and career guidance, recruiting and attending professional development training.
The ideal candidate will have:
? Four or more years of federal and state tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience
??Exposure to SFAS #109 / tax provision calculations
? Excellent client service, project management and presentation skills.
??Strong research skills and written and verbal communication skills
??Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.
? CORPTax experience a plus.
??Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
??Advanced degree such as MST or MBA preferred.
??CPA preferred.
