We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior in our Federal Tax Technology Services practice.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for the use of technology to accelerate and enhance delivery of Area Federal tax services. Actively participate as member of Area Federal pursuit and service delivery teams, with an initial focus on the use of technology in solution engagements. Coordinate and perform on-the-job training as needed for members of the engagement team.

Provide assistance in developing or enhancing proficiency in the use of major technology tools such as QuickPlace (including its uses as Research Credit Interviewer and 6011 Interviewer), Research Credit Calculator, etc.

Provide assistance in driving overall deployment of technology services through active participation as part of pursuit and client service engagement teams.

Promote tools to the Area Federal and solution leadership practice, including Service Line leaders and subject matter professionals responsible for particular solutions (drive penetration).

Monitor penetration and performance of technology services and communicate to Area and National leadership.

Co-develop the Area roll-out strategy and tactical plan for technology services with National and Area leadership and manage implementation.

Monitor competitive and client feedback/needs and communicate with other Areas and National to develop appropriate responses--product or communications.

Provide content and positioning guidance in the development of and participation in specific pursuit strategies, presentations and collateral.

Work with Federal resources including solution sponsors to integrate into practice distribution channels and marketing programs.

Work with the National team to ensure that the tool is incorporated into anchor/service initiatives.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have:

* a bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field (an advanced degree in tax is preferred but not necessary)
* 2+ years of experience in federal tax or solutions delivery preferred
* excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
* proficiency in MS Excel and Access; HTTP knowledge is preferred but not necessary
