Our Charlotte office is looking for a Tax Senior Associate. As part of the tax team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for:
- Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or
exceeds client expectations.
- Leading engagement team and preparing end-of-engagement
evaluations for staff.
- Monitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff
and adhering to work plan schedules on each assignment.
- Preparing complex corporate and personal tax returns.
- Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities
to increase level and types of services to clients.
- Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP
and the Firm?s standards and policies.
- Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.
- Developing an understanding of client?s business and
becoming a ?functional expert? in the area.

Position Requirements:
To be considered, candidates should have:
- Minimum of three years recent experience in Public
Accounting with an emphasis in taxation.
- Solid understanding of tax code and all technical aspects of
tax preparation and compliance.
- Proven experience with preparation of complex corporate and personal tax returns.
- A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or closely related field.
- Ability to travel (estimated to be 10% or less).

Additional Experience Preferred but not Required:
- CPA or JD.
