Tax Senior Associate PFS

Job Description -- The Personal Financial Services (PFS) practice provides tax and financial planning services to key corporate executives, high net-worth individuals and families and closely held business owners. This position involves obtaining an in-depth understanding of a client's financial goals and working with Managers to develop a strategy to achieve these goals. You will have an opportunity to concentrate your efforts on a variety of tax issues in one or more of the following: High Net Worth, Personal Financial Planning, and Individual Compliance. This position will be involved in review or preparation (in the case of very complex returns) of individual tax returns, review of year-end tax projections, research of individual tax issues for the Firm's high net worth and corporate executive clients. This senior associate will also be involved in research and preparation of analyses related to the financial planning practice for the same types of individual clients. As a senior associate, the individual in this position will mentor and assist associates.

Bachelors Degree required. Masters of Taxation preferred. CPA License or CFP strongly preferred.

Job Requirement Essential

Successful candidates will have a strong technical tax background as a result of three to four years experience in individual and fiduciary tax research, consulting and compliance in a tax professional services firm, industry and/or law firm. Candidates could also present experience in financial planning, estate planning and/or investment counseling. A knowledge of entity taxation relevant for high net worth clients, such as closely owned corporations and family limited partnerships, is also desired. Candidates must demonstrate a client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet function well with independent responsibilities.
