Tax & Financial Analyst

Basic Function: Responsible for tax accounting and compliance work for the corporate and partnership entities.



Primary Duties:

Preparation and review of corporate and partnership tax returns.



Preparation of quarterly and annual tax accrual work papers.



Preparation of quarterly corporate estimated tax payments.



Preparation of tax projections budgeting and forecasting.



Assistance in administration of stock compensation plans.



Calculation and issuance of investor Schedules K-1, Forms 1099 and supporting schedules



Preparation of quarterly compliance testing (REIT and Investment Act of 1940)



Research tax issues



Participate in a variety of special projects





Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years corporate and partnership tax experience from a large CPA firm. Experience in tax accrual (FAS 109), REIT taxation and / or real estate partnership taxation preferred.



Skills:

Excellent oral, written and analytical skills



Strong computer spreadsheet skills



Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently in an organized manner with strong attention to detail and accuracy





Education:

Bachelor?s in Accounting
