Technical Financial Projects Sr Manager

Reporting to the Global Accounting Controller, the Technical Finance Projects Senior Manager will have principal responsibility for the technical application of complex accounting matters and certain strategic projects.  Principal responsibilities will consist of the following:

 Support Corporate Business Development in providing timely and accurate accounting guidance in proposed business combinations and technology acquisitions. Technical support of complex accounting matters and implementation of new standards Assist with Audit Committee reporting activities. Lead and/or participate in special projects

 

The qualified candidate would possess the following qualifications:CPA with 10-14 years of professional accounting and supervisory experience, with 5-6 years experience in an audit or assurance role at a major public accounting firm in the United States Thorough knowledge of United States GAAP and SEC rules and regulations with good technical research skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate findings to all levels within the organization Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities combined with solid organization skills Proven project management skills in a fast-paced environment Sound PC skills would be a plus.
