Summary
The Principle Financial Analyst provides support for the nuclear office, which includes three nuclear power plants and the Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO) staff groups. Responsibilities include managing the monthly reporting process: collecting the results, providing key analytics & summaries in the form of management reports that can be shared with key organizational leaders. The Principle Financial Analyst also works directly with the CNO Staff Directors to provide forecasting and planning support for the corporate groups. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring and implementing key reporting enablers to improve standardization, accuracy and clarity in reporting ? as well as providing ad hoc analyses to financially quantify & describe operational drivers.

Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 3-5 years of related financial work experience. MBA or CPA preferred. Strong Analytical skills: Ability to clearly link financial results to operational drivers and independently determine proper methodology & approach to specific analyses. Strong Communicator: Effective & persuasive both orally and in writing. Expert in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; proficient with an OLAP application such as Outlook Soft or Khalix, reporting applications such as Business Objects, COGNOS, Hyperion, etc., and GL applications such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc. Ability to simultaneously manage several requirements. Very strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
