In this dynamic Senior Accountant role, you will be personally responsible for two important accounting projects for our San Francisco based firm. Your first task will challenge your broad based general accounting experience as you perform subsidiary accounting for an overseas company. Your second project will involve managing our multi-state sales tax initiative. As our Senior Accountant, your first challenge will be to learn our company?s unique accounting systems and demonstrate your broad based general accounting expertise as you tackle two projects. Your attention to detail, superb communications skills, and excellent project management abilities will be tested as you manage the accounting for a small subsidiary in the U.K. Your solid understanding of GAAP will serve you well ss you account for all of their costs, taxes, rents, expense reports, payroll, and other items. In this role, prior experience with foreign exchange and subsidiary accounting is not a requirement but a background understanding in these areas will be extremely helpful. Your second challenge will involve a multi-state sales tax project using Taxware and you will put your project management skills to the test as you develop acceptable procedures and processes to meet our specific requirements.
