Transaction Advisory Services Seniors/Managers

Our Client is a prestigious financial consulting firm looking to add to their Transaction Advisory Services Group here in Chicago. They pay very competitive bases, generous bonuses at all levels, less travel than the big 4, family friendly, better quality of life, and it?s still a ground floor opportunity as they build this specific practice group from 12 to 40 people.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Providing advice and expertise to corporations on potential mergers and acquisitions.

2. Create transaction advisory reports on key issues i.e. stakeholder concerns, valuation models and tax reporting implications.

3. Evaluate Earnings and Profits of client companies.

4. Due diligence research and reports on financial information and operations as well as integration plans.

5. 30-50% travel

 

Need to have one of the following backgrounds:

1) Big 4 transaction services

2) Big 4 audit (excluding those focused in financial services and non-profit)

3) Mid-tier transaction services or audit, but only if top of their class (again, excluding those in audit focused on financial services and non-profit)

4) Former I-Bank + PE combo (note I-Bank alone doesn?t work)

Except for candidates that fall into bucket 4 above, all need to have a CPA, or at least started the process if at a less-experienced level (e.g., passed one of the sections).
