Transfer Manager - Underwriting

POSITION PURPOSE:
Manage the Franchise Transfer and Reporting Process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Directly manage the Transfer Underwriting Team:
o Ensure correct and fast processing of more than 100 transfers per month for the Quiznos brand.
o Make certain that appropriate customer service for buyers and sellers consistently occurs.
o Oversee daily workflow management and help the team solve problems.
? Manage the entire transfer process for all franchise transfers:
o Communicate w/ field personnel to ensure team meets needs of Operations and Sales Teams.
o Frequently report progress by Underwriter and by Market to Chain Management team leaders.
o Manage relationships within the Transfer and Reporting Process, which includes:
? Franchise Sales Specialists, Finance Managers and Underwriters
? Underwriters, Franchise Owners, and Legal
? Implement process improvement throughout the transfer process, both internally and externally.
? Interface effectively with other Quiznos personnel, including auditors, Accounting, Legal, and IT.
? Lead weekly team meetings to troubleshoot and problem solve transfers in progress.
? Assist Finance Director in special projects as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
? Proven ability to create, implement, monitor and constantly improve work flow.
? Strong service orientation and ability to deal effectively with different personalities.
? Attention to detail and proficient with numbers.
? Comfortable in a fast-paced, time-sensitive working environment.
? Able to motivate diverse team of Underwriters to perform and maintain positive attitudes.
? Must thrive in extremely quantitative goal oriented environment.
? Familiar with Microsoft Office and Visio

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
? BA or BS required
? 3-5 years relevant experience managing people and processes
? Prior exposure to basic financial concepts preferred
? Paralegal experience a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with limited physical requirements. Heavy phone and computer work.
