TRUST ACCOUNTING REPRESENTATIVE

 JOB DESCRIPTION

 

?  Reconciliation of trust accounts on a daily and monthly basis.

?  Process funds transfers via ACH and Fed wire transfers.

?  Providing customer services to branch offices for adjustments, research, and problem solving.

?  Review various daily and monthly reports to maintain internal controls and prepare management reports.

?  Balancing and accrual of income; cash concentration.

?  Government reporting, including escheat and form 1099S.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS

 

?  Combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position.

?  Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting; bank reconciliation and/or banking experience strongly preferred.

?  3+ years experience with Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

?  Experience in funds transfer processing preferred

?  Experience in government reporting, including 1099 processing and escheat reporting

?  Strong math skills

?  Fast, accurate data entry

?  Excellent customer service skills

?  Ability to produce both quantity and quality work

?  Adaptability, ability to learn and change quickly to meet the demands of the work flow

?  Strong problem solving skills

?  Ability to identify issues and bring about resolution

?  Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and initiative to improve processes

?  Strong communication skills

?  Demonstrated ability to provide contribution to team effort.
