Position Overview:

Purpose of the position is to audit and recommend improvements to TRW?s operations and processes and assist in formulating and driving improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of all areas audited.  Audit areas include, but will not be limited to Operational Audits, IT audits, Financial Audits and Support Function Audits (e.g. Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, etc.).  Provide field leadership as needed, (auditor in-charge).  Assist Management in the compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.  Participate in special projects and fraud investigations.  Provide internal management consulting services. 

 

 

Candidate Requirements:

Undergraduate degree-Accounting/Finance/Business/Industrial Engineering/IT.  At least 4 to 6 years total experience in financial/accounting/business/ consulting/ information technology disciplines, including at least 3 years in internal audit and 1-3 years experience in role leading audit teams.  Internal operational auditing experience with a manufacturing company preferred.  Ability to travel 50-60% of the time, typically Monday through Friday.  Travel is domestic and international. Ability to relocate in the future to pursue other career opportunities.  Good PC/consulting skills required.  Ability to be based in Livonia, Michigan (Detroit western suburb).  Driver?s license required and a vehicle needed for local audits in Michigan.  Excellent analytical, communications, writing and interpersonal skills.  Team player.  Process improvement oriented.  Professional Certification(s) a plus (CA, CPA, CMA, CIA, CISA, etc.)  Experience with a substantial manufacturing organization is highly desirable.  MBA is a plus.
