Job Description
Wendy's International, Inc. is one of the world's largest restaurant chains operating and franchising more than 6700 restaurants in North America and International markets. The Vice President of Internal Audit, reporting directly to the Controller / SVP Finance & Accounting will be responsible for the development of internal policies and controls for the Wendy's organization. Primary focus will include safeguarding company resources, promoting company growth and ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations. This position will also direct and manage audits of company and franchise operations to ensure adequate internal controls, identify cost reduction opportunities and improve financial performance.



Essential Skills
Qualified candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of internal audit and fraud investigation principles and standards, accounting (GAAP) and finance principles, Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements and COSO process.

A CPA is required and an MBA is preferred with 10-15 years of related experience in auditing or accounting, including 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a multi-unit environment.
