Vice President, SPE & Inventory Settlement
(Special Purpose Entity)

The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations of SPE Accounting and the Inventory Settlement group. Involves overseeing department staff, systems and work flow, as well as establishing procedures and reviewing transactions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all general ledger accounts related to SPEs and settlements. Will also ensure the proper setup, timeliness and efficiency of accounting for new SPEs.

The successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance plus 10 years experience demonstrating progression into more responsible positions. The ability to train and develop staff members is essential, as are strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills. Previous mortgage banking or loan accounting experience would be very helpful. In addition, PC proficiency and familiarity with main frame computer systems are a must.
