VP Structured Equity Derivative Controller

We are looking for a VP - Structured Equity Derivatives Controller to join us. In this role, you will be responsible in a managing product control staff of five; oversee P&L for the Structured Derivatives desk, which involves reporting and explaining P&L attribution based on risk. You will have daily interaction with business units, trade support and various internal departments; analyze and document all complex structured trades; develop control procedures to monitor deal facts within a guardianship framework; work on desk initiatives such as EITF revenue recognition, detailed Regulatory Capital analysis, and valuation; participate in the review and approval of New Product Proposals. You will also be responsible for Understanding/Applying Mark Review, Valuation, and Marking, Trading restrictions Policies associated with New Model Reviews, and have involvement in various implementation projects.

To be considered, you must have over 8 years of strong work experience with derivatives products; experience in managing a team; proficiency with Microsoft Excel required; strong knowledge of spreadsheet functionality preferred; effective communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to organize and multi-task. You should be a self-starter and must possess the ability to work independently, and you must possess strong analytical skills.
