Purpose

As a Vendor Account Representative you will be responsible for surfacing, researching and resolving payment of non-merchandise invoices and issues for all areas of Target and target.com. You will handles all vendor adjustments, check deposits, and general ledger functions including accruals. Performs non-merchandise invoice processing functions including: account application/verification and payment into the appropriate financial systems.See Yourself


Identifying and resolving non-merchandise invoice processing problems that arise and communicates with all affected areas.
Efficiently completing all non-merchandise vendor adjustments using the Lawson A/P, Target Mainframe and Lawson GL systems.
Being responsible for timely and accurate processing of non-merchandise invoices and contract payments.
: Being proactive in developing partnerships with vendors, stores and all pyramids of Target.
Maintaining an excellent level of verbal and written communications between vendors, stores, headquarters, and all areas and all levels of management at Target.
Working in "team structured" environment, assisting with training, sharing expertise and balancing workload.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
One to three years of previous accounting or accounts payable experience.
Strong initiative, ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong time management, project planning and organizational skills.
Strong systems aptitude.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Excellent decision making skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong Customer Service orientation.Desired Requirements
Lawson, PACMAN, or Maximo experience.
Previous retail or banking experience.
