WAM Payroll Specialist 914934

Responsible for a variety of payroll preparation and data entry duties in accordance to departmental guidelines and in a timely and accurate manner; gather data for entry into payroll systems ensuring 100% accuracy of data entered; meet and maintain strict deadlines with payroll at all times; verify timesheets and aid in correcting misinformation (e.g., missed punches, problem punches, etc.); set up or change employees badge numbers for punching and other timeclock issues, as needed; sort and distribute paychecks; update tax forms, address changes and assist with W-2 preparation and distribution, as necessary; maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED required--associate's degree preferred Minimum two years payroll or similar experience required Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required Minimum 1 year ADP experience preferred
