Job Description: A great medical company in Irvine is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant

The position will be assisting the VP of Research & Development.

***Patent and trademark experience***

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

--Assisting with the preparation of various legal documents including agreements, licenses, contracts and NDA documents
--Assisting with the preparation of documentation for FDA submissions such as 510K, IDE and other submissions.
--Monitoring and tracking patent and trademark prosecution processes and coordinating with patent attorneys for timely filing of office action responses and responses to other requests from various patent offices.
--Monitoring and reporting on status of patent and trademark applications
--Tracking and making legal maintenance payments for all patents and trademarks
--Preparing and maintaining patent and trademark charts, databases and files.
--Conducting searches for clinical and legal references such as patent prior art searches
--Monitoring and reporting on new patents and FDA approvals
--Managing departmental accruals and invoices.
--Type memos, documents and reports;
--Answer phone calls
--Develop, maintain and process files, correspondence, databases, records and other such documents.
--Filing of legal, regulatory and clinical documents
--The ideal candidate is required to have great understanding of patent and trademark administrative processes and procedures, and the filing requirements for FDA submissions. The ideal candidate must have very good computer and typing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as to be very organized and meticulous.
--The company is looking for an individual with at least 15 years of experience in the legal and/or medical/legal field; a five-year college or university program certificate is required. Please Attach you resume
