ADMINISTRATIVE/HR ASSISTANT

Administrative/HR Assistant

 

A growing manufacturing company has an excellent opportunity in Lake Forest, California for an Administrative/HR Assistant. You will provide diversified secretarial and administrative functions and you will assist with general HR administration. You will handle details of an extremely confidential nature. Must have a positive and professional attitude and have the ability to work under pressure. In this function, you will plan corporate meetings and events, coordinate all on-line travel and transportation arrangements.

 

You must possesses a high-level of administrative and secretarial skills and be versatile in the use of PCs including Outlook, Word, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and internet search capabilities.  You must be bilingual - speak English and Spanish.

 

This position will not provide relocation assistance to Southern California.

 

Duties:

 

Administrative:Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages.Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects; expediting work results.Maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel; arranging meetings; conferences; teleconferences and travel.Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Prepares reports by collecting information.Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems.Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications, collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.

 

Human Resources:Support human resources process by recruiting; scheduling appointments; conducting orientation; maintaining records and information.Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation of company benefits and policies.Set up new employees on the time clock.Provides payroll information to the payroll administrator by collecting time and attendance records.Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing and analyzing data.Provides human resources with approved forms for promotions, change in status, leaves, and separations.
