Our client in White Plains, New York has an immediate position available for a Commodities Administrator.

Provides a full array of administrative support functions to help the sales group to solicit, maintain and monitor customers. The commodity administrator will also be responsible for minimizing risks by managing the Pricing and Prospecting System (PAPS) data and maintaining the integrity of information in and out of the system. ?Process price requests for the sales commodity group which incorporates downloading information from the Utility Customer Information Systems and inputting it into the Pricing and Prospecting System (PAPS). The commodity administrator will work closely with the to ensure that data is updated in an accurate and timely fashion.
Enter customer data into the Pricing and Prospecting System including: billing and service addresses, account number(s), local delivery company (LDCs) service and agent information.
The Commodity Administrator will be the prime system user and resource during for the continued development and upgrade of the Pricing and Prospecting System. They will be responsible for testing system functionality, suggesting screen interface modifications, working closely with developers and other system users to understand design issues and coordinate efforts to ensure accurate data input.
Conduct information research for sales, i.e. customer information, credit applications, pricing and contract information. This will require interfacing with customers on a regular basis to obtain and validate information.
Serve as the ?home office resource? for the sales team.
Responsible for maintaining all sales databases, and to recommend ways to utilize them more proactively in the management of sales results.
Interface with IT, Customer Operations and Contract Administration to ensure efforts between the groups are coordinated.
General administrative duties in support of and as an integral part of the commodity group.

General Experience:
3 ? 5 years experience, preferably in a sales environment.

Technical (Includes Computer):
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Extensive database administration experience.

Education: BA degree preferred
