This position is located in Keene, NH. The analyst provides support for the marketing, sales, customer satisfaction and engineering departments. The results provided by this role will be used to make business decisions.

In addition to being reactive to data requests, the analyst should proactively work to maintain and analyze information in the systems provided. These systems include data warehouse, Microsoft office applications and Timken developed systems. The analyst will support the functional areas with data retrievals and categorization of market data. This individual will support ad-hoc projects that relate to the Timken Health & Positioning Control business efforts. It will be the responsibility of the analyst to continually improve the efficiency of data retrieval, analysis and presentation in order to assist the Health & Positioning Control business to meet business plan goals.



 



The incumbent must:

- have an Associates Degree in Finance, Technical, or Math with 3 years experience OR  a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Technical, or Math

- be proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis

- have strong presentation skills

- have clear and concise writing skills

Experience with data base query and analysis in desired. As well as an ability to research a subject using multiple sources and provide a summary of the results.
