General Summary

 

Provides technical support to the Broking staff so they may provide a high level of service on existing accounts & produce new business at an optimal level.

 

Essential Functions

 

?  Markets renewals and certain assigned new business accounts for broker

?  Communicates with markets about the needs of a risk

?  Communicates with agents about market needs

?  Communicates with broker regarding issues with a risk or markets

?  May direct others and/or participate in putting binders together & compiling policies

?  Remits appropriate taxes and fees for out of state tax filings

?  Checks accuracy of all documents from the Broker team

?  Fills in for Broker and/or Associate Broker when necessary/appropriate

?  May rate premiums using appropriate software and/or enter quotes in the Account & Policy Management System (WinBroker)

?  Performs policy coverage comparisons when moving coverage

?  Delegates clerical tasks accordingly to ensure smooth workflow

?  Maintains good rapport and follow up with agencies and markets
