SUMMARY:  Responsibilities include assisting Nursing Account Managers with staffing for client hospitals across the U.S. Utilize PeopleSoft software to track nurse placement, facilitate filling orders and maintain data integrity.  Competency with Microsoft Office computer software, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task also required.

 

Previous experience in healthcare environment and a familiarity with medical terminology a plus.  Bachelor?s Degree required.  This position may require some overtime.

EESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Assist Account Manager as liaison for client hospitals, coordinate staffing needs of client hospitalGrows and expands FASTAFF staffing opportunities in assigned accounts.Develop strategy as member of Sales team, building business in current client base towards further account penetration and account developmentCalls to active clients on regular basis related to upcoming trends to their staffing needs Account strategy in assisting the ability to fill orders related to needs of the nurse and demands of the market placeDevelop and maintain rapport with assigned accounts.Validate current client openings and placement status and ensure that recruiting has been notifiedWork with Recruiting Department to facilitate the placement of highly qualified professional healthcare workers at our clientsUpdate nurse assignment information in PeopleSoft keeping them current and accurateDocument and provide Recruiting Department with pertinent information on assigned facility area, duties, etc. prior to the assignment start dateFollow-up with facilities for nurse placement (i.e., approval or decline status)Assist AM with coordinating nurse specialties to specific assignments and transmit profile accordinglySome overtime may be required

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Prefer previous experience in health care staffing.  Bachelor?s degree preferred.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

 

?  Background in healthcare industry preferred

?  In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office and PeopleSoft  along with strong troubleshooting skills

?  Daily Database maintenance skills required

?  Must posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

?  Knowledge of medical terminology desired

?  Requires initiative and careful attention to detail

?  Good organizational skills and time management skills are necessary

?  Requires the proven ability to maintain confidentiality and work as a ?team player?
