Accounting Admin

ACCOUNTING ADMIN Req ID 16433 (Hourly Position) Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the daily completion of printing and processing invoices and debit & credit memos. In addition, this position will assist within the Payroll function with Kronos related tasks; the distribution of paychecks and the completion of various payrolls related reports and journal entries. This position will be responsible for the set up new vendors in Maxcim, the daily opening and organization of Accounts Payable mail and the reconciliation of paid checks from the system. In addition, you will assist Accounts Receivable in various aspects related to the collection process. This position will be responsible for some monthly journal entries and month-end budget tracker preparation. This position provides switchboard coverage for lunch and breaks one day per week. Other administrative tasks may be assigned to this position depending on department needs.


Qualifications and Experience should include:
? A Two-year degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience plus two years of work experience in an administrative function. Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
? Basic knowledge of accounting and office procedures.
? Familiarity with basic accounting principles and terms.
? Proficient with computers including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
? Professional office etiquette and good communication skills.
? Sensitivity to confidential nature of information working with.
